"More than my old piano" is an eclectic mix of original compositions for piano, prepared piano, melodica, and toy piano. A huge range of styles is touched on, from Brazilian and Cuban percussion genres to Sichuan folk music, and from free jazz and children's tunes. "Old Piano" features the first recording of the "Three Latin Rhythms," where I try to single handedly reproduce the polyrhythms of Batucada, Maracatu, and Guaguanco in a kind of tour de force one-man-band.
